The oils produced from roses collected by hand before sunrise in May in the villages of Isparta Güney Kent, Gönen, Keçiborlu and Senir, the villages of Uluborlu and Sorguncak around Lake Eğirdir are very valuable and one kilo of oil comes out of an average of 4 tons of roses. Our rose, which is quite healing both in oil form, yeast and rose water form, is obtained from the rose species called “Rosa Damascena”. This rose is probably the “most valuable” rose industry product in the world due to its oil.
